OneAlpha, the next generation slot coordination and airport capacity management software company, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Maria Giretto to the position of Account Executive starting October 2021. Joining VP Global Business Development Carl Jones, Maria will be OneAlpha’s lead representative in Europe, and will work with Carl across global markets. Maria looks forward to meeting with customers and the industry in person at the 149th IATA Slot Conference in Rome.
Maria is already known to many in the airline community, having spent the last 30 years working in the industry. She is probably best known for her 10 years working in Etihad Airways’ Network Planning division, where she was a key member of the team that over saw the expansion of Etihad from 4 aircraft to over 100. Following stints in Commercial Planning and Revenue Management, Maria could be found more latterly working in the airlines’ IT department, managing small projects, and working within Service Delivery, ensuring that key IT systems maintained their operational stability.
Maria is no stranger to the IATA Slot community having attended numerous Slot conferences over the years on behalf of Etihad Airways during her role in the Schedule Planning area.
